That was a close call. 

I am in the process of creating a shiny, new office space away from the rest of the house so that I can work with a few less distractions, and...not have to worry about the 2 and 4 year old ruining my stuff, and therefore, inhibiting my ability to work and buy them things like food. So while I was in my 'new' office putting some finishing touches in it, like a desk, my 2 year old apparently awoke from her nap without my wife's knowledge. She then proceeded downstairs to my awaiting MacBook on the dining room table. And a water-filled spray bottle.

My sweet Heidi apparently thought my MacBook needed some cleaning and used her spray bottle liberally to spray, and DUMP, water onto the display and keyboard of my computer. Oh, and it was plugged in AND turned on.

Anyway, all's well that ends well, or so the saying goes. Here's what I did to revive the computer (in case this ever happens to you).

1. Immediately scream at nothing in the tone of Stanley's 'STELLLAAAAHHHH!!!!'
2. Then panic and run to the kitchen where you WILL NOT find any sort of towel.
3. Unplug your computer, pick it up and watch a river of water pour out of it onto the dining room table.
